The University of North Dakota (UND) Varsity Esports team of over 50 players competes against colleges and universities across the nation. UND is the state's oldest and largest university. We offer 225+ highly accredited on-campus and online degrees, and is committed to the development of our students and the Esports program. Our brand new 1.4-million-dollar Esports facility includes 42 stations, a private competition room, and broadcast room to create a professional and competitive atmosphere for the players. In additional to competitions, UND’s Esports program offers leadership opportunities for student athletes as well as internship opportunities. Kansas Wesleyan University Esports started as a club in 2015, morphed into a Varsity program in 2019, and has been expanding under new Director Ethan Weis since the Fall of 2022. Lander University

Lander University is a native member of the Peach Belt Conference headquartered in Augusta, Georgia and also competes in the NECC in the titles listed in the section below.

These titles have full access to our on-campus esports facility, scholarships, our strength and conditioning facilities, and other benefits.

Other Opportunities:

Production Crew - The Lander University Esports Production Crew was created in the Fall of 2023 and offers internship experience to those who successfully complete a full semester in the program. With each semester, a student earns a Certificate of Experience and cumulates in a Letter of Certification. This can be used and counted as an internship on resumes and will be validated by the coaching staff and Lander Athletics to help jump-start your career when you leave Lander.

Shoutcasters - responsible for our on-air commentary

Graphic Design Crew - responsible for the creation of all of our assets for social media and broadcast

Stats Crew - responsible for tracking player stats for each game and creating a cumulative report across each player's career

Michigan Technological University

Michigan Tech is home to more than 7,000 students from 54 countries. Founded in 1885, the University offers more than 120 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in science and technology, engineering, forestry, business and economics, health professions, humanities, mathematics, and social sciences. Our campus in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula overlooks the Keweenaw Waterway and is just a few miles from Lake Superior. We are a public university with one of the most affordable tuitions, safe campuses, and best engineering programs in the country. The Huskies started strong winning both the NACE 2021 Spring CSGO Championships and the Michigan Esports Conference OW Championships. Esports players and staff have access to a live production studio and dedicated practice/performance facility. Our program is housed under athletics, so our student-athletes receive the benefits that all of the other SAs do, such as: priority scheduling, excused absences and rescheduled exams, access to a dedicated athletics counselor, gym priority, and opportunities for scholarships. We are fielding teams in Apex, CSGO, Overwatch, Smash Ultimate, Rocket League, and League of Legends, we are also open to covering new titles such as Valorant and Rainbow Six: Siege. We also provide scholarships for staff positions such as: Shoutcasters, Analysts, Team Managers, and Social Media Managers.

Maverick esports has been playing competitively in varsity titles since Spring 2021, we boast recent National Championships in NACE and PlayVS leagues. Maverick Esports offers both Competitive and Casual gaming experiences. Our students get to play and train in our esports training facility which hosts over 25 high end PCs.

Additionally, we aim to provide real world training and experience for our students. At Maverick Esports we offer employment opportunities in broadcast, facility operations, social media and team management. The North Central University esports program is all about empowering our athletes.  Our gaming lab is custom built to provide esports athletes a place to train, create content and develop skills that can be used beyond college. Complete with 25 gaming desktops with Ryzen R9 5900x processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphic cards, the lab also sports 3 console stations featuring Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. St. Cloud State University

St Cloud State University offers Competition, Careers and Community within Esports. While other schools take a shotgun approach, going for as many teams and players as possible, we're specializing in every necessary ingredient to endemically brew an inclusive esports culture. We offer minors in esports, student employment opportunities, 20 PCs with RTX 4080 GPUs and 10 with 3080 GPUs. Last year we started our rocket league team and this year we're focusing on Smash; every year after we hope to introduce one new team for varsity competitors to make a real splash in collegiate leagues. We offer $3,000 scholarships for eligible varsity players and scholarships for club leaders. Our coaches: Coach Kye and Coach Cam have years of experience with their respective games and report to our Director of Esports: Chase "Nuke" Neukam. All of them are hardworking and forward-thinking individuals positioned to grow esports in central Minnesota and the Midwest.

UWRF Esports is UW-River Falls’s 18th varsity intercollegiate athletics program! UW-Stout's Esports program first launched in 2019 with no staff members, only three titles and no arena for our players to play in. Fast forward to today and we now compete in 4 game titles, have added a temporary facility along with a broadcasting studio with an upgraded arena in the near future! UW-Stout has also made the commitment to hiring a full-time staff member in 2023 to help bolster the programs needs and grow the program into the future as one of the top collegiate Esports programs in Wisconsin.
