A Word From The League

Hey all,

We’re sending another newsletter out this month to give everyone an informational overview of the upcoming Spring ‘23 season. We’ll continue the tradition of sharing this before the start of each season and we hope it’ll be useful for our coaches and players to get prepped before the season begins. With all the mayhem that might be going on when it comes to getting ready for the season, make sure to review the checklists provided in the section below. There’s one for coaches and another for students.

Under that you’ll learn about our new collegiate sponsor and how we’re ramping up the collaboration with local universities. The last section is important information everyone will need to know going into the spring season. Rules have been revised, titles have been added, some game days have changed, and much more to look forward to this season.

Please make sure as a coach you’re able to check off the entire list and that your players, especially your captains, are refreshed on the rules and what they need to do in Leaguespot.

Please reach out if you have any questions for the upcoming season!

  • You can have as many teams as you can field for JV Rocket League, Smite, Fortnite, Valorant, Chess, JV 3v3 Crew Battles, Minecraft Bedwars, Club SSBU 1v1 and Club League of Legends.

  • Club leagues will have their own finals tournament during Week 8 of the season and will not be attending LAN. Club league champions receive:

    • Club SSBU 1v1

      • Special Discord role (Club Champion) that allows gif posts (must still follow MNVL Discord rules when posting gifs)

      • Nintendo Gift Card

    • Club League of Legends

      • Special Discord role (Club Champion) that allows gif posts (must still follow MNVL Discord rules when posting gifs)

      • In-game currency

  • The MNVL Spring 2023 Smite season is sanctioned by Hi-Rez Studios, and thus every player that registers will receive a free God Pack unlocking all characters for play, a choice of a free skin from the two offered by Hi Rez, and the top 8 teams will split a 100,000 Smite Gem prize pool!

  • The custom map/server codes for Fortnite and Minecraft are listed in the bio of that league on Leaguespot.

  • A huge change from last season, there’s no rescheduling for any league during the spring season. The only exceptions for this rule is for school holidays or if both teams agree to play in person (in the same room). In those cases, you'll need to notify an admin.

  • Please have players read the rules of the games they compete in before the start of the season.
