A Word from the League
Hey all,
As we get closer to the end of our spring season and start looking to summer, we just wanted to thank all of you for the tireless work you put in to make this season great. We see our coaches and students building the Minnesota esports community as they connect with one another each week. Sometimes it is not easy, but in the end we know it is worth it for our students.
In this newsletter you will find some important information leading into the State Tournament and All Star Weekend. If you are a coach or player you will definitely want to check that section out for all the information you will need.
Lastly, we are sharing our first glimpse at what our summer programming will look like. We have a couple of free seminars for any school trying to start a program, as well as two virtual summer camps planned. Share these with anyone you think would be interested. Registration for the free seminar is open now, and the summer camps will have registrations announced by the end of spring season.
Looking forward to growing this with you all,
MNVL
State Championship Updates
Rocket League will be increasing those accepted to the tournament from the top 8 teams to the top 16 teams. Teams will be chosen based off of win/loss record first, and then by game differential.
Streams for two of our tournaments will be moved to give our students a very rare and special chance to play on a professional esports team stream! (More below)
The State Tournament for Call of Duty will be featured on the Minnesota Røkkr's official Twitch page! Our players will be featured on a real Call of Duty League (CDL) team broadcast!
The State Tournament for Rocket League will be featured on Torrent Esports' official Twitch page! Our players will be able to say they played on a top 10 RLCS team's stream! (Torrent is based in Minnesota)

Camp 1: Esports Broadcasting Camp
Our first camp will teach students all the skills they will need to run their own esports broadcast, whether personal or for their school. They will learn from some of the top broadcasting professionals in esports today.
Camp 2: MNVL + Alpine Esports Rocket League Skills Camp
In the second camp attendees will get training from RLCS players, coaches, and analysts as well as other very special guests from the world of professional esports.
